It Happened Here Screening Impacts 400 Students

I have been working on showing the documentary It Happened Here at all of the high schools in my county. Last week was the first screening, with 400 students participating. It felt so good to educate so many students on sexual assault. They were so engaged in the documentary and asked really insightful questions. Most importantly, we started the conversation that no one else is having! The students left with more knowledge than they had before the event. I can’t wait for the next one.
