A few days ago I had the opportunity to talk with Lauren Allen, a sexual assault survivor and new SSAIS advisory board member. I was excited to talk to Lauren because she’s just a few years older than I am. I figured she would have good insight to share with other kids our age. (She did.) I also know she shares my passion for starting the conversation on K-12 sexual assault and working to educate students about the facts, their Title IX rights, and prevention suggestions.
